What the web is saying...

Pros: Purists like this amplifier due to it's very natural sound. An ideal amplifier to run your TV or games though, as well as to listening to music through. Excellent value at under £100.

Cons: No remote or tone controls (tone controls can be found on the AM5 model).

The Bottom Line: The Topaz AM1 is ideal for those looking for a simple, low cost amplifier. It may not be the most powerful on the market, but it does offer a pure and detailed sound, thanks to it's minimal circuitry.
