What the web is saying...
Pros: Smooth HD graphics. Huge amount of both full, and arcade games. Sleek, stylish and smaller design. Much quieter than the original Xbox 360 - especially if you install your games to the hard drive. Excellent build quality. No heat-related hardware problems that the original 360 suffered from. Kinect is fun for families and casual gamers.

Cons: No Blu-ray player. DVD upscaling isn't quite as good as the PS3, but is still decent. Microsoft's Xbox Live Gold is an extra £35 per year. No HDMI cable included (you can pick one of these up on Amazon, delivered, for under £2).

The Bottom Line: The new Xbox 360 S is a welcome upgrade from the original Xbox 360. Gone are the heat worries that plagued the original version. It looks great and is generally whisper quiet when in use. The addition of built-in wireless will save the extra £30+ it used to cost to buy as an extra. Xbox live works very well if you are a multiplayer gamer - all users will be impressed by the amount of content you can stream through this refreshed, yet well established, console.

Information & Specification for the Xbox 360 S
The new S version now has a removable hard drive, either a 4 GB, 250 GB or a massive 320 GB. It has built-in 302.11n Wi-Fi, 5 USB ports and a HDMI and Ethernet port. There is now an optical out port to connect to your amplifier. It is also Kinect ready (the old one was too, but it needed an additional power adaptor). In the box you get a wireless controller (two if you opt for the 320 GB package) and a headset, but amazingly no HDMI cable.
You can stream and catch up on Sky TV with a Sky account and it's also very easy to stream media from other devices. From the Xbox live dashboard you can also access Facebook, Twitter, and Zune movies. The market also has a huge range of full and arcade games to download immediately and there are also many new movies to watch aswell.
