The Bottom Line: A welcome update from the previous version of this Freeview box (DTR220), with none of the reliability issues. It has excellent image quality, and apart from having to do an initial software update, which was slow for some, it's very easy to set up. A great value, reliable, Freeview HD tuner with two options to get TV audio to your music system.

The rear of this unit has visual outputs for one SCART lead and one HDMI cable. There is also a Dolby Digital (5.1 surround) output as well as a pair of regular audio outputs - a great addition for connecting the unit to your amplifier. There's also a USB port, which is used for updating the internal software and an Ethernet port. In future it is hoped that BBC iPlayer will be available via this port.
