Pros: Big choice of games. Runs quickly. A crisp and vivid screen which has good anti-glare properties. Good sound quality for it's size. Portable and light. Good connectivity.
Cons: Apart from the screen, owners of the original PSP might not gain too much by upgrading to this.
The Bottom Line: A well supported, feature packed, gaming handheld with an excellent screen. Not only is it good for gaming, but also for watching movies and listening to music on, as well as surfing the web. Very portable and you can also output to a larger screen using composite/component cables. A solid performer.

This model of the PSP has five times the contrast ratio of previous PSP models and it refreshes much faster, helping to reduce ghosting when playing games. It plays UMD disks, digitally stored movie files and music files. You can also make calls with Skype via Wi-Fi. You can surf the web on it, again using a Wi-Fi. With the right add-ons you can turn the PSP 3000 into a camera and also a Sat-Nav device. In addition, this Slim model has been fitted with a microphone.
